Trip to Nyingchi by the Delegation of the Swiss–China Tibetan Chamber of Commerce

The trip to Nyingchi was a profoundly moving experience. Here, nature and culture shine in harmony—the majestic Namcha Barwa Peak towers above, gleaming in the golden light of the sunrise; dense forests intertwine with the winding Yarlung Tsangpo River, together sketching an unparalleled, magnificent landscape.

We were fortunate to visit a school in Bayi District, which left us deeply impressed once again.

Upon entering the campus, we were first greeted by students in neat uniforms, full of energy and enthusiasm. We visited different classrooms in turn: some students were focused on learning Tibetan, while others were studying Chinese. In the laboratory, students concentrated intently on their scientific experiments. In the music room, melodious tunes resonated—students skillfully played a variety of instruments, with many proficiently performing the traditional “Zhamunian,” producing a clear, melodious sound with exquisite technique. In the dance studio, a class was performing the Gongbu ethnic dance, with coordinated movements, lively rhythm, and radiant smiles, fully displaying their youth and vitality.

This experience will remain deeply etched in our hearts for a long time.
