The Swiss Fujian Association held a grand 10th anniversary celebration in Lausanne. Representatives from the Embassy of China in Switzerland, local government officials, overseas Chinese leaders in Switzerland, and Fujianese compatriots from across the country gathered to celebrate this milestone. The ceremony began solemnly with the national anthems of China and Switzerland. The Association’s president delivered the opening speech, reviewing the ten-year development of the Association and expressing gratitude for the care and support shown by all sectors of society to the Fujianese community in Switzerland. Mr. Mao Jun, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland, also gave a speech, highly praising the Association’s achievements in uniting compatriots, serving the community, promoting Chinese culture, and fostering China–Switzerland friendship. The evening was filled with a lively atmosphere, with attendees enjoying exciting cultural performances and tasting delicious hometown specialties. The event was imbued with strong feelings of hometown connection and celebration, showcasing the unity, friendliness, and enterprising spirit of the Swiss Fujianese community, and collectively wishing the Association continued success in the future.
